So, basically...

It's amazing how much better I feel after forcing myself to do some art.

As I said in my last journal, time is certainly not on my side. But, thankfully, I convinced myself to put away the calculator, put down the blasted book, and pick up my trusty pencil.

I barfed up some ideas I'd been carrying in my brain for weeks, and I feel so much better. I even finished the digital painting I had started forever ago.

I had an art teacher in highschool, who, whenever under stress, weither it be from teaching, other jobs, his wife, his daughter, he'd paint, sculpt, or draw. And he is the happiest person I know. That's kinda how I feel right now. I'm amazingly happy for how much crap I have to deal with, but art has certainly calmed me down.

Seriously, if you're feelin' like the whole world's gonna cave on you, just sit, turn on some Styx, and draw. I promise, you'll feel a lot better, just as I have.
